For this month’s Starbird, Nat Mundel hangs out in the bachelor crib with Break Media SVP and Editorial Director Jonathan Small. Distribution entity, content studio and ad agency all under one roof: that’s what Break is about. With 35 million unique users per month and a slew of cleverly funny guy-centric channels, like Cage Potato and Chickipedia, Break.com is at the forefront of the Branded Entertainment movement.

Break Media also has it’s own Creative Lab where all kinds of different content is devised and executed. In 2009 alone, 8 full-time production mad scientists dreamed up 80 pieces of content with a growing list of over 35 advertising partners. Original sketch comedy and sponsored video clips are just a few of their ongoing Branded Entertainment projects. Major brands like ATT and Coca-Cola’s new NOS energy drink are on board as part of their burgeoning client list.

And now, as if that wasn’t enough, they’re producing their own TV series. The Bro Show follows two down-on-their-luck guys as they get abused and exploited by Break. What more could you ask for?
